The Simplistic Architecture offers a new, innovative approach towards faster, more economical software development. This methodology simplifies all aspects of the software development cycle, so that you can create industrial-strength, web-based solutions quickly and easily.
The key to the Simplistic Architecture is the fact that the Browser is explicitly avoided as the working environment for the end-user. By by-passing browser-related complexities, software development is simplified to the level of MS Access-type applications, but with the benefit of an industrial-strength, web-enabled platform.
Prior to Release 2011, the Simplistic Architecture supported two deployment scenarios: SAstandard (fastest development and user-interface response times) and SA.XML (more complex because of XML conversions).
With Mirror TOOL 2011, SA.XML has been discontinued because it is only of academical concern. The continuous (and time-consuming) XML conversions and extra layers of programming violate the principles of optimal simplicity and user-interface response times. SAstandard2 is now available in Mirror TOOL 2011 as a final polish to SAstandard.

The Difference Between Browser and Windows Applications
Please note - Mirror TOOL and other "simplistic architecture" applications require the once-off installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 on your PC. Windows Vista/7 comes pre-installed with .NET 2.0, but Windows XP users must run the .NET 2.0 installation if not already installed.
- Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime - vbsys.exe (Please read) (Required if you want to use Microsoft Access for SQL design purposes.)
